The
knit-one-one studio is ideal for craft
groups and/or for those wanting an intimate
meeting place or classroom. The space is bright,
light and airy. It has a full kitchen, a small
outside seating area, and a bathroom. It is
close to public transportation – just
a 7 minute walk from the Ashby Bart station
– and it has lots of unlimited free
parking outside.
The studio is located where
Oakland, Berkeley and Emeryville converge making
it an ideal gathering place for all kinds of
groups. It is also next to Sweet
Adeline Bakeshop for those groups wanting to order food for
their event.
For Craft Groups:
Want to do some quilting? We move the table
against the wall where there are electric outlets
galore.
Spinning? The tables get moved and spinners sit in a circle.
Knitting and Crochet? The tables are set up in a long format so that crafters
can not only see one another but can also move around to admire each others handiwork!
Other crafts: Well you can move, mix and match
for just about every crafty activity!
For Meetings:
The space is perfect for a group to meet as
one, but it is also large enough for smaller
breakout groups as well.
For Classes:
The space works well in a traditional classroom
format, or with different groups at a few tables.
It also functions well with one large group
at a big table. In fact it works well for all
the many different kinds of classes you might
want to teach!
